Open House Checklist

EXTERIOR

Park cars away from driveway. Leave front of house clear

Remove front lawn debris - toys, bins, pet litter etc.

Garage doors down and front door wide open

INTERIOR

Quickly pick up any personal items - toys, clothes

Remove mail, valuables & personal items

TURN ON EVERY LIGHT IN THE HOME

Open all blinds / window coverings for maximum light

Spray and wipe bathroom and kitchen counters

Quick sweep or vacuum high traffic areas (if time)

Empty all rubbish bins, especially in kitchen

Fluff sofa cushions and tidy coffee table

Set out Fresh Towels in bathroom

Toilet lids down and fresh toilet paper

Fluff beds, pillows, and cushions in all bedrooms

Ideally have windows open but ensure home is a comfortable temperature

All ceiling fans should be on low

All doors in house should be open as far as they can go, except closet doors

Eliminate all traces of pets, including bowls, kitty litter boxes, pet hair, and the pets themselves

Swimming pool should be crystal clear
